Today the heat makes each bead of my sweat fill with emotion.
Rising to my skin in slow motion,
As it drips from my fingertips with such Luminescence, it is not long before the drops are broken upon reality and absorbed by the concrete on which I’m standing.
The air remains salty and my mind grows quite faulty, which inhibits me from being a safe landing.
The waves sometimes come in slowly with strong current, and sometimes settle quickly and calmly.
But it is when they break upon me,
with such force that they send me crashing backwards into the waters of confusion.
This is when I need to dig my feet into the sand, the Earth, the Source, and learn to anchor my breath long enough to let the flow surround me, allowing it to seep into the cracks that need filling, smooth out my edges, and roll off the rest of me, momentarily cooling the heat that will always rise inside of me.
